The Amsterdam Law and Finance Association is pleased to welcome René Smits, Professor Emeritus of the Law of the Economic and Monetary Union, for a guest lecture on Wednesday, 24 September 2025 at 18:00 CEST.
Professor Smits will discuss the system of prudential supervision established in 2014, with the European Central Bank (ECB) and National Competent Authorities (NCAs) working together to safeguard the soundness and safety of banks.
